The Jungian Odyssey
I was a founding members and chairman of the Jungian Odyssey in 2005 and 2006 and its academic director until 2012.
The Jungian Odyssey is now approaching its 16th year of success as an off-campus, English-language retreat. At this occasion the International School of Analytical Psychology, Zürich (ISAP) opens its post-graduate program to all with interest in C.G. Jung & Analytical Psychology. Taking place each year in a different region of Switzerland, the Odyssey affords immersion in the landscapes that influenced Jung’s understanding of the psyche and today infuses each retreat with a particular genius loci. Presenters deal with traditional Jungian areas of interest: myth, fairy tale, art, religion, dream, connecting these with contemporary research and clinical practice as well as personal and collective experience.
